so here's some junk for you to play with.

who wants a 303 combi?
get it here.
it was built against audiorealism's bassline for a sample reference.
reason's oscillators and filters don't quite make a perfect 303, but it does make it really freakin' fun.
be sure to try out the saturation.
i like it better than the straight foldback distortion.
nice and warbly.

in non 303-related news...
i don't have a fancy graphic for this, but it's at least as interesting and far more bizarre than a 303 combi.
instructions:

  1. get winrar or windows xp or something.
  2. click me and unzip file.
  3. turn speakers down.
  4. open file.
  5. after reason opens, turn speakers up slowly.
  6. try to write music with this happening.

i kind of consider it my intro to parenting. it seriously won't shut up.
it was some bizarre experiment to see if i could make completely autonomous music in reason, which i was unsuccessful at.
no big deal, this was worth it. 4 knobs (kinetic curve and rate, bio curve and rate) which adjust cv waveforms and rate values on a malstrom.
one cv wave crossmodulates the other (is that considered self-oscillating? i need to do some homework) which can be disabled via the "cure adhd" button.
if your new synthetic offspring starts to get on your nerves, there is a button to correct that as well, since the stop button now has no effect whatsoever.

i wish you the best of luck with this one.
